I get these all the time for my book. Which was also sold by my publisher to be scanned, pulped, and my content stolen. I got a check which was nowhere near the value of the work I physically put into it. I hate techbros and AI with the passion of a thousand suns.

I don't use ChatGPT at all, but if this is the general approach -- sucking up my own writing and spitting it back to me as fawning praise, with an undercurrent of "but other people don't see your genius like *I* see your genius" -- then I can see where all the psychosis is coming from.
