This 👇🏼 Choose kindness.. even when it’s hard 💕
"Kindness is not weakness; it is one of the hardest choices a
person can make in a world that keeps rewarding arrogance,
mockery, and emotional cruelty. It is easy to wound people, to
sneer, shame, dismiss, and make someone feel small for simply
being human. That takes no real strength at all. Anyone can be
harsh when they are full of pride, bitterness, or pain they refuse
to face. But it takes real strength to remain decent when life has
given you every excuse not to, to keep your character intact when
disappointment has made you cynical, and to stay gentle in a
culture that treats coldness like power. Kindness is not passivity,
and it is not weakness hidden behind polite words; it is
self-control, emotional maturity, and the refusal to let ugliness
spread through you just because it reached you first. It means you
can stand up for yourself without becoming vicious, leave
without humiliating, and protect your peace without poisoning
 everything around you. Many cruel people are not powerful at all;
they are unsettled, frightened of vulnerability, and desperate to
feel important by making others feel small. That is why their
cruelty always feels empty underneath it all. And yet some people
still choose patience, respect, and care, not because life has been
gentle with them, but because they know exactly how much
damage a careless word can do. They know what it is to carry pain
in silence. They know how much one act of compassion can
matter to someone barely holding themselves together. That is
real power. In a world that keeps normalising contempt, to
remain kind without becoming naive, and compassionate without
surrendering your boundaries, is not softness. It is courage."

Flock has told the public for years that its technology “cannot recognize, identify, or track individuals.”

The company has now built an AI system that does both. And got the system's code -- allowing us to reconstruct it, and learn exactly how Flock's new tool is supposed to work:

Flock’s surveillance cameras have already sparked outrage. WIRED reconstructed its next-generation AI system, already in use by some police, to confirm it goes much further than tracking license plate...
